Statement

The NSW Showjumping Council Inc. is the Showjumping Administration wing of the Equestrian Federation of Australia (NSW Branch) Council's role is to administer,develop and promote showjumping throughout NSW. This includes organising and/or conducting courses of instruction, lectures or discussions for showjumping Course Designers and Judges as well as encourage and formulate the standardization of rules and regulations for holding official competitions.

Another important objective is to encourage the continued improvement of the standard of showjumping and training with the aim of consistently achieving performances which compare with those presented at the highest international competition level. Council membership comprises of riders, officials, showjumping clubs and other interested persons throughout NSW. The membership year is from July to June.

From within this membership 13 are elected each year to the Committee by means of a ballot. The Committee also consists of delegates (to a maximum of 10) from affiliated showjumping clubs who have full voting rights at meetings.

The President of the 2006/7 Committee is Mr. Steven Lamb,Steven whose interest in showjumping spans many years is also on the sub-committee for Media & Marketing,

There are 2 Vice-Presidents and they are Mr. Grorge Sanna, & David Willis, George is a Level 3 Instructor and is also on Coaching & Development Sub-Committee, David is a Level 2 Judge, he is also a vet from Armidale whose interest has developed over the years with both his children competing at a high level and his wife, also a vet, competing as often as work allows and was 2004/5 President of the NSWSJC .

The Honorary Secretary, Mrs Katrina Dukats (non Committee Member) has being appointed as the Honorary Secretary this year

The Honorary Treasurer Mrs. Jenny Shepheard, whose attention to detail and financial expertise will be greatly appreciated by the Committee members and is also on the Coaching & Development Sub- Committee.
