Important Message to Jumping Judges

The Committee of Jumping NSW would like to remind all judges that it is their responsibility to send the results of official showjumping graded classes to the office of Equestrian NSW so that the database for the grading system and performance cards is up to date and accurate.

The ENSW office needs to know the following information for the first three placegetters in a graded class.    The name and date of the show, the name of the class and the total prizemoney for that class.

Then for the first three placegetters  - name and registration number of the horse (including any prefix), the name of the rider and their ENSW membership number.

The judge should check that the appropriate points have been entered in the performance card for the horse before prizemoney is given to the rider.

For a class to be a graded class, and the horse to earn points, the class must fulfil ALL these criteria:

  1. the Judge or Course Designer must be an accredited official of Equestrian NSW (ENSW)
  2. the riders must be financial members of  ENSW
  3. the horses must be registered with ENSW
  4. the prizemoney must be $100 or more for the class
  5. there must be 10 horses that start in the class
  6. the height of the class must be 1.05m or higher

We all rely on judges to send the results to the ENSW office so that there is fair competition between riders.    The results should reach the ENSW office within 2 weeks of the date of the show.   Jumping NSW looks forward to your co-operation.

Any queries, please email nswsjc@pnc.com.au or phone Katrina Dukats at (02) 46 512312.
