JUMPING NSW VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH _ August 2008.

Mrs Kerrie Winning.

Kerrie has been involved with horses all her life beginning with her Grandfather owning and breeding racehorses at Woodlands Stud.

When Kerrie’s daughter Jamie started jumping Kerrie and husband John took a keen interest, initially becoming sponsors of a number of jumping and equitation events.

Kerrie not being someone to sit and do nothing she offered to help out in anyway she could.

You often see Kerrie pencilling for the jump judges at competitions, working in the office at many of our major events, not just for a few hours she is there at dawn and doesn’t finish until well into the night and is always one of the last people to leave. Her attention to detail and dedication to whatever job she is doing is second to none and she is a great support to many of NSW major jumping events.

Jumping NSW is very lucky to have such a tireless, keen and talented volunteer.
